Well, it finally happened- what do you guys think of the prices you got for all
the hours you put in doing up up your fur ??. I thought a top lot beaver should have done better. Glad to see that some otter moved although not all..

My Marten averaged $88.57, Weasel $5.64, Squirrel $0.10, and I got $22 for a fox. I hope the rates at the next auction stay high for Marten and lynx go good.

What is a blanket beaver going for these days?I shoot about 20 every year
for bear bait.I skinned and stretched 3 last year and quickly remembered
how much work goes into it.

Do you know anyone who is interested in the pelts?

I just skinned 6 the other day and gave them to the hutterites.

If you were interested i would flesh them and freese them.

They are all head shots and fleshed very nice.I used to do about 20-30
every year.

I see squirrles are .10 cents.that is sad.I remember in the mid 70s i took
103 in and if my memory is right i believe i got almost 2.00 a squirrel.

Mink Was the big thing for me to trap back then,Used to get about 40-50
dollars for a nice adult.

I miss those days,It sure was alot fun.

Go to the alberta trappers association web site, and find your local rep they will probably have a good idea of the fur buyers in your area if your interested in selling them. cheers dean

Sale did all right by me high $90's for marten and my limited lynx harvest was good as well. Here's hoping they hold for next year.
