Get to your gopher patch and take some targets with you. Find a knot in a fence post. Gophers are not gun shy. They'll be back up in a few seconds.

can't u sight in on stafford drive somewhere. Apparently there is a lot of
Lead in the area already. A little more shouldn't hurt should it!

Took our little guy out to play at the school field in town today. Saw dozens of the little buggers out running around and chasing each other. The wife was taking pictures for some Bio project she is working on and managed to get up pretty close to a few of them. Would be a great place to shoot, if there weren't a school right there... :sign0176:

Lots are out in 305 today, got quite a few with the .17 and a few more at long range with the .270
Wolves were around yesterday as well but I didn't get a chance to shoot.

Went and dialed in my wifes 22, my 22 and my 17 and went and had fun today. She got about 30. The thing that amazes me is that she kills them dead with her 22. She is a master at headshots and it is amazing to watch. 20 to 100 yards she kills them real dead. We get a great body count when she shoots. Me?? I use my 17 cause thats killn em real dead through kinetic energy alone. :sHa_sarcasticlol: Oh, I got about 10 cause I let her shoot as much as she wants. Its fun being the driver for the Assasinator. :sHa_shakeshout:

Took my daughter who is almost 4yrs old out an shot my first gopher of the year. Was her first time seeing a dead one and she says without prompt " that was awesome" I think I have spawned a natural born killer:) It was a very nice day today took her out walking and found three sheds! 2 whitetail and one mulie. I am lucky to have my parents farm to help get my kids interested in the outdoors!

Haammered a couple with the APA Sunday. Have been seeing them for a couple of weeks but they were sparse. Today more out for sure

Dang, I hope I start seeing them around the farm soon. Still a reasonable amount of snow around but in the next few days we might see some more bare land.
Hopefully their will be good number this year. To many hawks around last year to have a good gopher hunting season.

Hahaha, Maybe a bunch more lead while the range is closed will get them to open it up sooner :D Ok everyone in lethbridge if you need to shoot head out in the north end and shoot towards the city :) :)
