Looking to buy a new quad a yamaha grizzly. Anyone know if they can be brought back without duty? Any links to dealers in great falls or close to there. Neighbour went picked up a ranger figured saved $3000 not bad for a 4 hr drive and hotel room.

you have to pay 5% GST dutie on Yahama quads because they are only assmbled in the US but manufactured over seas and a $250 documnet fee

I think that is what is needed My brther and fathjer both bought there ne w Grizz 700 in the US for $5700 that was a steal of a price to bad there were only 2 left or I would have bought one

Which Grizzly are you looking at? Have you checked your local dealer? Yamaha, and all the other manufacturers, are giving great rebates to help compete with the US market. My buddy phoned last week on a Grizzly 700 and the dealer in Montana said that they will not sell to a Canadian resident. Don't know if Yamaha is getting tough with the dealers like BRP is or if it was just that dealer.

I have a buddy that bought four Yamaha Grizzlies out of the states this summer. One of the four had major problems and they would not recognize his warranty up here. He was told he had to take the quad back to the US to have the warranty considered. He still saved a bunch.

You won't save much going to montana. I searched around a couple months ago and the cheapest I heard for a 700FI with EPS was $8200. and that was in lewiston montana. after you pay the GST, import fees, Gas, hotel, etc. you may save a couple hundred for your troubles. I have heard blackfoot motorsports in cgy was selling them for $9000 with a winch.
