bear baits at jack pine

im looking to bait a black bear this spring and am just wondering if youre allowed to bait in jack pine grazing reserve. ive checked in the regs and i cant find anything about it. any ideas?

Call the Grazing reserve number and they will let u know I think you can but in all my years of being in there I've never seen a single bait. Also you may want to head further north although there are a few bears in there, their really is only a few that move in and out.

I wouldn't waste my time in there, never heard of much for bears in there. Better chance of hogs hitting your bait. Cynthia hardly any farther with a ton of bears.

i didnt really think it was going to be too productive in there. i might head in for a spot and stalk but i dont think ill bait in there. thanks for the help

west of wab is right. i was out there today all day and i saw more bears today than i ever have. if youre looking to hunt bears thats the place. grab a brazeau county map and head out. you wont be dissapointed
