Great day to be on the ice for one last time!

Hit Beauvais Lake yesterday for the last outing of my hardwater season. Arrived at 7:30am, not even the slightest breeze of wind and a temp of 1C. Caught lots of rainbows and some suckers. All fish were released, to some peoples dismay, even the suckers :) Nothing huge to write home about, all in the 12" range, but fun day none the less. Took some video with my Marcum fish camera, water was quite cloudy.

On a side note, ice was about 14" thick and rotting. The ice near the shore was flexing pretty good in the afternoon as I was walking off the lake. Safe to bet that the lake will be done very shortly with all this warm weather.

Looking forward to open water season!

Great Pictures , That sucker would have gone home with me to , Perfect Pike bait . Im going to work on finding a bunch of 8 -12 inch suckers this hear and keep them and freeze them and freezer pack them and use them for pike next year ice fishin .
