Awesome Day of fishing on Gull Lake March 11, 2012

We spent all of Sunday at Gull fishing, and my 15 year old son had an awesome day. He caught a 20 lb 42 inch pike and then 20 minutes later caught a 15 lb 38 inch pike.

I told him to cherish the memory because it may not happen again in his life time.

We were set up beside them and saw it happen.
Congrats on the incredible fish. Surely a day to remember.

My son brought in a 15 pound pike the same day, fishing for whites on a little rod with 6lb test line and no leader. I couldn't believe it didn't break off before we got it up the hole. He watched it race in to the lure, gills flared and mouth open. He was pretty psyched.

We were out on Saturday at gull. Saw tons of pike on the camera but they wernt interested in what we had for them and we tried every thing. mind if I ask what you were using for bate?

I was there on Sunday and only got 1 white and 1 perch Congrats to the young fella. Saw heaps but they never looked interested in taking my bait. must be doing something wrong.... ah well was a beautiful day out there
