I have a few bags of pepperoni and jerky that I need vacuum sealed. Is anyone in Edmonton out there that could do this for me for a modest price? Or does anyone know of a shop that could do this?
Please let me know, thanks!

You should go to Costco or walmart and buy a food saver vacuum sealer. Reasonably priced also the Best money I've spent in a while we use it everyday for everything and anything that's frozen or refrigerated.

There is usually one or two at the sportsman show. Just bring your stuff in and ask for a demmo.

I've had the Costco one for 5 years now, and I seal everything I possibly can... well worth the investment... will pay for itself in a few months if you like to use it

If you are road tripping down South and stop in Calgary. You can package your own on my commercial machine. I have all the supplies. No charge to you.

Victoria meats has done it for me. I think on 101 ave... east of Rexall about 10 blocks. They are a good shop. If the bags dont seal right the first tme due to very sharp points on certain jerky as did mine they will double bag.

Must be on a diet if your gonna vaccum pack! I made 50 pounds of jerkey at x-mas and my family devoured it! My 2 boys take deer jerkey too school like it's candy! I always wrap my jerky in paper towel then just put in ziplock bags it,s stays fresh for 2-3 months! If it lasts that long!:)

It has been an amazing unit- Scooped it out of my buddies Butcher shop when he shut it down and moved to Enderby.

He sold it cheap was under 1k.Sounds expensive but a similar machine new would be about about 4-5K. Faceplate damage from an attempted burglary at his shop , but it works great. Can also be hooked up to a modified environment gas connection to inflate and seal like they do to potato chips to prevent product crushing and extend product life.
Only downside it that it is not exactly portable. It is a 2 man lift and even with 2 it is a ball buster.

Very nice stainless ones at wholesale sports. Probably going to buy that one.
