if you want a reel to match your rod weight and balance nicely your probably gonna have to sacrifice the large arbor although Orvis makes an unbelievable reel for a few hundred 150-200 I think it's medium arbor and comes in 3-4 wght I have on and personally it's a great reel there called Access arbor reels by Orvis.

Okuma SLV under 80 bucks for sure, darn nice reel for the money. Amazon US has a ton of them.

I'm not sure what you consider "inexpensive" but a Lamson Konic 1.5 may well be one of the best buys in the $100-150 price range? As mentioned,Pfleuger makes inexpensive reels that haven't changed much in 50+ years, and their Trion is a nice solid reel for just about the exact same price as a Konic, albeit a fair bit heavier which might be desirable to balance a longer 3wt rod?

I've got three myself. Well worth the extra 50-75 bucks.
