Anyone know much about these lures? I've got a tackle box of em and they are untouch, unopened packages in pristine condition. I don't see any years or date of manufacture on them.

Guessing by the packaging thoes could possably be from the 60's to mid 70's. Williams lures are tried and true. I like trolling the large whitefish or wabblers for lake trout.

The spinners are mainly a bass lure but can be very effective when trolled for pike.

The rest of em are good for all types of pike, walleye and laker fishing.

Open em up and get to er.

If your going to use them I would put them on ebay, they might garner some interest and you might make a bit of profit. Then you could use the money to buy new Williams stuff, seems a shame to open them if they have any value as they are to someone. By the way if I could only use one hook for the rest of my life for pike it would be the biggest Williams wobbler, Whitefish model in silver.

i have used them alot and still use them .. nice old Warblers.. i used one to catch this as a flasher and then a Green Doc Spratley .12# 13oz Brook Trout

Use them all the time at the shuswap, good lure for lake trout and caught the odd rainbow with them

I sent an email to the Williams company (now called Brecks I believe) and described the lures. The person that wrote back seemed very interested in them and asked to send pictures. Just waiting to see what kind of further information they can provide.

Thanks in that picture its 1984 i bought in 1980 or 1981 and in Avatar i still have and that was 2011 April.... its my old blanket :sHa_shakeshout:
