Anyone ever have any luck with any thing else in that lake. I have always heard lots about burbs but not too much else on the other fish. just curious

Ran out of minnows and used their guts with great results. In fact going there again and will try a piece of pepperoni to get the first one for the guts, and then the game will be on! :sHa_shakeshout:

Lac Sante had a ton of different kind of fish planted in the 80's. Walleye, and I believe they tried lake trout.
Fished it in the 90's many days and could only catch pike that were big. The lake has a high saline content and is not good habitat for most species.
Lately have only seen suckers, Burbot and the odd pike on the camera.
