Phylis lake

I was just wondering if anyone has been out to phylis lake lately. And if so how was the fichin. I saw some beauty bows out there this summer but have never ice fished it. Any advice would be appreciated.

I went out to phylis lake on saturday and caught a ton of small perch and a dozen or so 8-12" trout. It was a great day. Maggots and orange powerbait were the feed of the day

Try using marabou jigs at Phyllis; no bait. They seem to work well for me, especially on bigger fish.

Wondering if anyone has been on phylis this year yet. I'm thinking of going out this weekend and trying my luck. Tundra i'll definitely be trying the jigs this year, thanks for that tip.

Those brooders really turn me off. I can give you directions to another lake in the area that holds just as many big rainbows and they have grown from a fry.
