Open water burb fishing and bait less

Sooo...

Didn't get near enough burbs from OMR this ice season.
Spawn is pretty much still on I figure.

Has anyone ever targeted burbs during open water??

AND..... Some genius decided to make the resevoir a no bait zone!!!!!


I've caught incidentals... With bait.
Anyone find a reliable lure?

I'm going to go with jigs and hope for the best.

Jigs or slow presentations. Bottom cranks would work too. I'm sure a umbrella rig near the bottom would work as well.

I've caught them with weighted streamers and sinking line.
