Hey all just a question, we are thinking of going to the bow tomorrow and from the regs I've read, it's open all the way to the bassano dam, but I'm a bit confused on the regs by where the high wood flows is this section closed or am I reading this wrong.thxs

What's confusing about them?! They seem really straight forward to me!! "Open all year"!

But if I'm reading them right it's closed 500metres where the highwood flows into bow....just wondering if that's the case, if ya had read highwood regs...So is the highwood closed 500m before the bow or 500m on either side of the bow where it enters..

Its closed within 500m of where the highwood comes in Wich means u have to be further then 500m from the point of entrance of the highwood into the bow. 500m on any side i think is to be correct

The last 500m of the Highwood River falls under the Bow River regs.

You can fish that whole area of the Bow where the Highwood joins and you can fish the first 500 m of the Highwood. Any further up the Highwood and then you will be fishing in closed water.

from the Western Headworks Diversion (W.H.D.) Weir downstream to the Carseland Weir*(includes 500 m of the Highwood River and*the 3 Carburn Park Ponds) but excluding all waters in the Inglewood Bird Sanctuary (see Inglewood Bird Sanctuary) – Open all year.
