Wait so your saying its a good thing to see a sucker on the ice with a knife through its head, your sick buddy, people who love and enjoy the outdoors and love fishing dont just put knives through fishes heads and leave them on the ice, the person who did this obviously has issues.

Was there at first light, sucker was gone. Knife was about 3 feet from the crime scene. Guessing a eagle took the fish by the size of the footy prints. Another great early am bite but no suckers, guess they dont eat big hair jigs.

How does targeting one species leave more of the other for you?

Seriously? Even a monkey could do that math. I will spell it out anyways. If person X fishes for burbot only, that means he is not fishing for walleye and therefore not taking any out of the system in a place where harvest is allowed, which in turn means there's more walleye for me.

Makes sense to me. Pretty straight forward mathmatics. :shark:
