Not sure if anyone has had a chance to read the article in the Lethbridge Herald (March 8) - Tom Bateman of Lethbridge was recognized in Edmonton with the Order of the Bighorn...only 108 awards have been awarded since 1982. Just thought I would let others know. I know Tom personally (he tested me for my FAC course) and I hunt geese with him regularly. I don't know anyone more deserving. Congradulations to go Tom!!!

I worked with Tom for many years. I can't think of anyone more deserving.

I was fortunate to be invited to the awards and was very impressed with Tom and all the recipients. I understand that the award committee has to choose from dozens of people and if the rest are in any way similar to the award winners then we are all surrounded by some very good people. Makes me proud to live here.
