I've seen wood stocks that Cobra has done.If the finish on the stock is good it comes out looking great. It can't fill dents and scrapes though, although they will be less visible. Monashee

Are they completely opaque? Meaning if you used wood filler on a small dent or scratch would it show through the dip?

I have an old cooey .22 and a 12 gauge that just sit in the safe. I was thinking getting the stock done in something like ....

It think for wood stocks with more pronounced grain pores they will give the stock a coat with auto body filler and sand it out. I had a sales table right next to them at the Easter gun show 2 or 3 years back, so I was exposed to lots of their info over the course of a day.
