The two owls are road kills that i have picked up over the last few years, and the mink was at the wrong spot at the wrong time, (eating my dogs food late one night)

The head F/W biologist for Alberta said it is a palimeno mink.. I thought it was someone's pet ferrit when I shot it.... Lol

Yes I did see your owl and Tyler's. Blue goose. All I can say is you are not going to be disappointed, looks awesome, you should be getting a call in the next week or so... That guy sure does some amazing work.
I do my own taxidermy work but my birds will be going to Ben from now on, and if I ever get a cat I have Marco on speed dial....

Jim

Congrats on a spectacular mount...in my opinion, there is no one around that can touch Ben and his birds. That man is beyond an artist when it comes to his birds. That will make a spectacular addition to your home. Regards......Marco

Great mount jim, Ill have to have a look in person when I come out to pick up the collar.

Ben IS the best in the west when it comes to birds, sure he is more then a few of the other places around leth but he is WELL worth the cost, I cant wait till I can get my swainsons in there and home

AFAIK if you have it wrapped good, you should be able to hang on to it for quite some time

One of those owls were 5 years old, birds will last a long time in the freezer.
But i heard snowys only last a few months, so best to give me a call and i will come and dispose of it for you... Just jokeing... good find, i would love to get my hands on a snowy someday.

Jim..
