Hey Guys
I just wanted to update everyone that hasn't had a chance to make it to Bullshead yet. I fished for 4 hours sunday morning and 3 hours monday night. I caught 16 fish ranging from 8" to 23". It's very active and the fish are really healthy. If you get a chance head out soon before the weeds hit and have some fun!! Oh yeah and pick up your garbage!!!!!!!!!

I'm going to smoke it this weekend hopefully. I don't think I'd eat it an other way when they are in spawn. But as soon as I smoke it I'll let you guys know if I can taste the difference.

The location is stated in the thread title.

If you're finding the Bow slow, try changing your technique, time of day, or location. There's plenty of willing fish in there.

cheers

Had one of my best (ever) days at BH for hooking fish on opening day but my water to land ratio sucked..got snapped off twice:mad0030:I was going to release them anyway but I guess they didn't know it:) I hooked a lot more smaller fish it seemed than in years passed.. but there are some brutes in there! I would not bother to try eating them ..I tried one late last fall and I marinated it for 24 hrs..still didn't taste very good..that was the first fish I kept since the lake became a Quality Fishery and will be the last fish I will ever harvest from that lake!!
