What are some thoughts on the best factory made rifles?

I wouild go with pre-2000 Remingtons.....or Weatherby IMHO.

Some would go with Winchester Model 70 as a solid choice.

I thought I sold you the best LH rifle out there.:)

I've owned a pile over the years.
Remington 700's
Remington 788's
Savage's
Sako's
Tikka's
Winchester's
CZ's

I still can't say one is far better than the next.
Some have better features, some have better stocks. but at the end of the day they all seem to shoot very well, and that there is the primary decider.
YMMV

Great Left hand rifles are also available from
Cooper
Blaser
Styer
Mannlicher
HS Precision
and a host of others.

For all round hunting, my current favourite is a custom from Ultra Light Arms, that didn't cost much more than some factory rifles. Wish I had bought one of these 30 years ago.
