More Easter Rainbows

Couldn't waste a perfect day doing yard work so went out and chucked some flies again today. Wasn't as productive as yesterday but managed to get a couple small rainbows and this 17 incher.

Perfect day weather wise but the bite was much slower, red chironomid was the fly of the day.

Lost some more ice overnight, two aerators are ice free now and the north shore is fishable. There's enough ice gone from the west shore to push a pontoon into the water from the parking lot, rest of the lake is still covered. Probably get out again next weekend, I'll be the one with the faded red fish cat.
