you did better than me with the pike, had one follower when I tried the fly rod, and had another up to shore on my bait, other than that I shot 6 gophers, and caught around 100 perch. back to work tomorrow, that was a fast 4 days!

I drag it over the rocks down the dam.

Nice pics, healthy looking fish. That's a nice little lake, don't see too many people out on there with a boat, mostly fishing from the dam.

I drove around the lake a few weeks ago looking for a place to dump my big boat in but couldn't find anywhere.

Me and the old man usually dump our tinner in at the west end along the grassy bank. A little easier on the bottom of the boat and I just use the truck to tow it up the bank when we are done.

Another spot to try might be at the canal on the north east corner if you like fishing the east side.

Yeah I wish there was a launch somewhere a guy could get a bigger boat in, same at Fincastle and Horsefly. Nice walley to be caught but almost impossible without a 12ft boat or less.

We used to put the boat in off the canal on the northeast end and then fish towards the far bank on the east side of the lake.
