Try the end of June or early July........lower Bow between Calgary and Carseland.

My favourite time is at the end of Run off when the water just starts to clear but is still high. Makes for exciting streamer fishing

Wydham Carseland provicial park is located on the Bow river right below the Carseland weir. Pretty nice campground but can be hard to find a spot on the weekend.

Stampede week always seems to be the best. Usually its post run off, but the water is still high and moving fast. Iv had more luck during this time over the years than any other.

This is floating from 22x- McKinnon I shud mention...

Just watch your regs, Carseland weir to hwy 24 is closed until June 1. Above the weir and below hwy 24 are open though. The campground is quite nice but get in early.

I have not fished the Bow much in the summer but have had some excellent days in October.

Unquestionably, the middle of September.
