So i phoned clay at profit river firearms and put a order for a cooper excaliber in 35 whelen fluted bolt and barrel olive with black synthetic stock now i play the waiting game for it to come in iam told about 3 months to get her. Now i have thebig delema in decideing what glass? Curently thinking a vx2 4-12x40 with a german number1retical and possibly a cds dial what do you guys think?

a gun like that should have german glass on it.

It used to be, that when you ordered a Cooper, you had a year to decide on a scope. It's great to have Prophet River in the game.

You can still plan on waiting six months or more if you order a Cooper. One of mine has been about 14 months, and it still hasn't arrived. Three months would be way faster than what it took for any of my Coopers to arrive.

That was a good thing,cooper seems to be "pumping" out there rifles alot faster these days......however only 3 months is a pipe dream.

Id go with the zeiss optics.
