That squeal you heard Wednesday night was my daughter opening her birthday present, a Savage Cub T. The giggles you heard yesterday was our range day at SPFGA.

After letting her shoot a bit with it just bore sighted I sighted it in for 15M, replaced the shoot 'n see and, well......not sure who was more proud. :)

Again, thank you. It was my first post lgr purchase and so glad it was for her. (she would have gotten it one way or another.) We went to P&D first thing yesterday morning so she could pick out a scope. While there she saw a pink camo gun case and used some of her b'day money to buy it for herself. She already has a plan for gophers and the pigeons in Papa's cattle shed. :)

how old? Congrats on your daughters good shooting..

We just bought the girlfriends son a regular Savage Cub .22lr... For his birthday next month. He's going to be 6 I think? but he's the size of a 4 year old haha. Hopefully it works for him.

She'll be 11 next week. It's her school break this week hence the daddy/daughter time and the early b'day present.

No rifles for my little girls yet, wifey wants me to wait till they are 10 or 12 first. They both shoot bows already though! Good job on getting her out there! And nice group for sure! Congrats!

GREAT JOB DAD!! Give yourself a big ol pat on the back!! It's so nice to see others taking the time to introduce their kids to the shooting sports. I've got my youngest girl of 13 years hunting and PAL certified. She has her own minors permit card and she absolutely loves shooting!!...My oldest grandson(10) just had his first trip to the range last fall....:D...another one hooked I'd say, according to his smiles anyways!!
KUDOS to you. The kids are our future, and the future of this sport as well.

Good on you Rod! I know that going to the range with all my (4) girls is usually a highlight for them, they all have pics on their facebook (usually with my pistols, keeps the boys respectful :)).....keep up the good work!

Make sure she leaves you some gopher fun LoL
Good job and glad you had fun. Another two years (at least) before my nearest grandson gets to the range.

Some of them kids I tell you....natural shooters, just like your girl. That is beyond awesome. :):):):)

Where are my manners?.....Rod, put her in the Postal Match. Yeah I know today is the deadline, but if you guarantee that she's in....good enough for me. :sHa_shakeshout:
