stainless steel tie-able pike leaders

tommorow im going to buy some stainless steel leaders, specificly American Fishing Wire Surflon Micro Supreme. whats your guyses opinions on this for pike and walleye compared to the normal leaders you buy at canadian tire? id imagine itd really increase the lures action. also what colour do you think would be best, black, bright or camo brown?
