Made up my mind to buy an '08 Black Armor Rhino out of a dealer in Great Falls, MT
Out of anyone on line who has decided to save a bundle by purchasing south of the 49th. How would you rate your experience. Was it tough getting it back over even with the correct paperwork ? Or was it easy ?

Would appreciate the feedback.

Thanks.

Howard

A buddy bought four yamaha Grizzly 700's, one didn't work so well, they will not respect the warranty here if bought there. He was told that he would have to send it back to Great falls for warranty work.

Like Rack said... make sure all yer paperwork is in order, no problemo. I was 15 mins at the US side, and 15 mins at the Can side, done deal. Both Customs agents were very pleasant to deal with, I'd do it again in a heartbeat. Good luck.

Howard. What was the name of the dealership in Great Falls, as i am looking at buying a 08 grizzly 700 with power steering. I was also curious as to when (if you were to buy your Rhino) you would be heading down to Great falls.

Thanks for the info guys, I was just considering a used pickup from the States, are the rules the same? or are there more... What do you do for insurance to drive it up?

Scooterj,

www.riv.ca has all the info on vehicles....trucks included. You also need to contact US Customs to export the vehicle...they need 72 hours notice and require docs faxed to their office....

For insurance, your insurance company can issue you insurance without having the vehicle registered.....just talk with them and can get it done.....

Easy process....

For anyone that might be interested,I discovered an importer that is bringing Honda products across the border and is selling them for much lower prices than Alberta dealers.Rubicons are being sold for $8300 tax included.Rincons are under $8800 with tax included,420s are under $6250 tax included, and eu2000i inverter generators are $1255,tax included.I am buying two generators from him myself. He is based out of Leduc. The business is called LA motorimports.

I bought a truck out of texas last year, had it shipped to seattle, picked it up there, piece of cake as long as the paper work is done just as they require. I phoned a customs broker and asked them a bunch of questions, they were really helpful.
