colt .455 eley questions

have a friend who has this deactivated service pistol.
: is ammo available?
: can parts be obtained?
: does it have a monetary value?
: is a 45lc a viable option for target use.

My colt was rechambered form 455 Eley to 45LC.

Depending on how the gun was deactivated, it could be brought back into serviceable condition, but you would have to send it to a pistolsmith to find out.

thank you gentlemen. with a quick visual ins the firing pin is missing( minor issue.) looks very clean.
is this a canadian issue revolver. colt, british service pistol?
