Shooting simulators

Our group in Creston, B.C. is considering the purchase of a shooting/hunting simulator to train teenagers in safety and shooting fundamentals.
Does anyone out there have any experience in such products or any recommendations?
Someone suggested the Rika Home Trainer; however, this appears to be designed to help experienced or competitive shooters improve.
Any tips would be most appreciated.
