View Full Version : Took the kids fishin

Took the kids out a couple weeks ago. It was my daughters first time pulling up the fish. I had a few tip ups up which they ran around and caught a pile of Burbs (about 25) and a couple legal sized pike. I had her grab the line when the flag went off and do the run backward thing to get the fish out. My son has fished with me a bunch of times and is good at setting the hook and pulling them up hand over hand now. It is fun watching them get excited with the fish flopping around. We spent the morning at gull mostly and then went to sylvan. My son caught his first whites all on his own as well. He would get mad when the fish would swim past his hook and eat mine but both kids did a great job. I need a bigger tent now that the daughter is addicted. Three in a 2 man tent is a little cramped.

It was fun when we got home and cleaned them. We had a whole biology course and a new education. Now every fish I clean I have to open the stomach to see what the fish are eating or the little man gets a little ticked at dad.:lol: :lol:

those glasses remind me of last summer when I went out to my truck and my son was wearing my sun glasses. I told him not to worry he would grow into them! alot of great pics on here guys!!

They only come out for the photos, rest of the time they are locked up tight in the bag, i may have been born at night but it sure as hell wasnt last night

Congrats Nube, looks like a really fun day with the kids.

As for Lethal I think he should change his name to Ponch from C.H.I.P.S. :lol:

hey nube that burb u brought over was great, fryed er up and forgot that you gave it to us, thanks a lot, looks like the kids had fun cant wait to see jakes face when he gets his first duck, then his first yote, deer etc. hes gonna be a good little hunter
