Anyone know what the open water situation is like at swan lake by crooked creek? I'm hoping to launch the bellyboat this week.

Went on sunday with my canoe .. area from the boat launch almost to the beaver dam to the south is open .. and to the north partway past the bend in the lake is open .. ice near the aerators was about 2inchs thick.

id say about 10% of the lake is open as of sunday. Shouldn't be too long for the rest of the ice to melt :)

Thanks for the update. I have a bunch of egg-sucking leeches I'm itching to pull out. I think I'll take the canoe out for a splash this weekend!

This is Swan Lake in ES4 by Ridge Valley/Debolt. It's a stocked lake and is open all year. Maybe you're thinking of another Swan Lk?
