Crippled ginger going fishing... Easy access spots around banff/canmore?

Heading out for the weekend to the area and wondering which spots are easy enough to access for me. I just started walking again a little over a week ago and am still in my aircast, so any tips would help. I was going to try the kananaskis ponds/quarry. Would like to find a good spot to get down to the bow if possible. Probably going to end up getting a park license as well so anything in the park i am open to as well. I can get around pretty decently so dont be afraid to suggest anything. Im normally not much of a pond guy so i was hoping for some better suggestions!

I would think Maybe you could go at the engine bridge on the bow won't be to much walking and also grotto for ease of acess
