Salters lake shore

I've never fished Salters lake in the summer. Is there spots to fish from shore or is it too muddy around the lake?

extremely muddy around shore due to water levels being down over the years.

Look to the left of the dock and follow the well traveled path and you will see places to stand and fish. There is pallets or wood to stand on the there.

if your going to fish from shore make sure you wear your rubbers or waders as you have to walk right to yhe edge of the bull rushes to cast into decent water. if possible bring a few pallets or sheets of plywood to add to the collection as there is only about 3 spots to choose from. if you fish the right side of dock you get the sun all day, but wind might not be to your back. good luck.
