the coolest bugs ever. great fish food, a lot of protein there. sweet vid. have you ever witnessed the northerns picking them off the surface on the blindman? that would make some unreal footage.

Nope iv never seen them rise for stones this early but I dont go down their to check up on the water since its closed to fishing but with water levels being lower then they have ever been I decided to check on them.
I have seen them make a wake and snatch 4-5 caddis in the water in one bite. Same thing with the mayflies in the system. The main feed on insects is in late summer for the pike and you can see all the scuds and other stuff in the grooves of their mouths. If you got time or changing flies the logs on the top of the water are pike feeding on terriestrals and they are soo gentle picking off beatles but if its a hatch they can be ruthless.
Ill try and get some dry fly fishing videos on pike this season for you Dace.

The others ones were me trying to figure out windows movie maker. Hopefully next weekend me and Biggame can sneak in a video! Only this time with a HD camera and a sense on how to use movie makers!

Yo Dustin I got my mom's HD camera for this weekend, should be a blast! pop me a txt.
Great video again we had to walk quite a ways up stream to find those golden stoners. (as we flipped over the occasional rock every 200 meters) darn those things are thick. Looks like the Browns may have been feeding on them.
