Hey guys, im going down to medicine hat in a month or so and was planning on fishing the south saskatchewan river, I was wondering where some good spots are for walleye and pike and the best lures/rigs to use to catch them. Thank you all answers are greatly appreciated....ps im 14

use to go under the transcanda bridge and use pickeral rigs n minniows and always had alot of gold eye and walleye usaly hitting

I'm not going to give out specifics, respecting people that have found their own spots, but if you cruise through the river valley at say 6 or 7 in the evening I'm sure you will see people fishing. Just saunter on down and make yourself friendly and learn about the river. Lots of holes spread out throughout, one place that looks interesting where I've never seen anyone is the ripian the city put up on the outside curve below the MH culf club. Nice big sweep with some back water close to shore.
