had that problem on my magnum. check to see if your choke is sticking open a bit.

1) make sure fuel line in tank is ok, filter etc
2) use a good synthetic oil like amsoil or optimal , small engine oil not regular 2 stroke
3) adjust low speed screw on carb for smoothest idle then adj for no bog during accelleration
4) adj high speed screw while holding throttle wide open to get highest rev's and then add 1/8 more open ( take the blade off for this :) )

followed your instructions,bog went away. I think idle was out a bit THANKS
