So for the past few days a friend and I were debating on the location of the "Childrens Pond" in Stirling; The lake just up the road is the "pond" or is there a tiny pond in/around the city?

it is the one just on the outskirts of the town.
I think it gets hit pretty hard right after the stocking truck dumps the fish in there.

Yeah, just north of the City is a lake called; Stirling lake.. Our debate was regarding if the lake was the "children pond" or not?

Nope don't think that is it. You have to go through the town on the main road and park at the bottom of a hill and walk up to the top to find the pond.
I think if I remember right it is on the southwest end of the town.

There is lots of little slews around southern alberta that aren't on the regs. They are usually very shallow and don't hold much of a fish population.
