Black Bears over bait and Rain??????

Howdy folks,

With all this moisture we've had in the last week to week and a half I was wondering how successfull bear hunting can be when its pouring or drizzling heavy.

I am planning to sit a site that's been hit hard for the last month for the first time on Sunday night. However, its been raining and raining and likley will do more of the same tommorrow.

Any thoughts on how this kind of weather affects things at the baits.

Bears arent as active in the rain, but a bait site will still get them coming in.

Bottom line, you wont kill em from home on the couch, but the odds do drop a bit I've found in the rain.

They(bears) don't seem to care about rain or weather.

Shot my first bear in the rain. The only issue is that if the bear has rubbed it is not nearly as visible when they are wet.
