what fishfinder do i buy?

well got a boat and got "a" tags for battle.....but i never fished in a boat and was wondering what is a good starter fish finder to buy.....im not rich....and it needs to be EASY to read and EASY to install. Or maybe a used one?

Id buy a used one if someone wants to upgrade theirs....

It would be nice if i could also use it ice fishing .......

Do they actually work?

Check the for sale ads on the main board also there was a few for sale at Kijijji a while back.

I bought a Lawrence x4 last summer for $100 and it deffinatly revolutionised the way I fish, should have got one long ago. No expert on electronics here but I'm happy with the Lawrence. If I could have found one I would have gone with a Garmin just because there seems to be less people with reliability complaints about them than with most other brands IMO.
