I have 4 jig rods for sale if your interested one is a st.croix legend Tournament vertical jig it's 6'3" Another st.croix legend finesse jig it's 5'10" and made for smaller jigs and there is a G.loomis gl3 it's 6' and finally a fenwick elite tech that is 5'10"these are all great rods just really all depends on what feels right in your hands also color kinda plays a part although not a major one but you want to have equip that looks nice to your eye as well as functions the way your are comfortable with

I've never had a problem getting walleye in the boat with my ugly stick. :)

St Croix topped with a Quantum Tour Edition spinning reel. Well balanced, sensitive but with backbone when required.

St Croix, I have Fenwick as well as G Loomis, now the Loomis is my best rod but I use the St Croix just as much.

Pair it up with the Shimano C I4 and you have a jigging machine.

Check out the new rods out by Rapala, TS2 series, Walleye Team Series, R type, Walleye Tournament Series, Shift Series and my personal favorite the new Concept series. 3M nano coating.
So many to choose from.
Good luck deciding!

I would recommend a St. Croix Eyecon (http://www.stcroixrods.com/product/eyecon-walleye). It's specifically designed for walleye, and the models "Snap Jig, Vertical Jig, and Jig n' Rig" are even more specified to your specific request. My friend owns a few Eyecons and I've used them personally. All I say about them is "Awesome...."
Hope this helps!

I ordered a Legend Tournament 5'-9" xfast about 3 weeks ago, hope it is here before we head to Moose at the end of the month. I have been using a 6' Series One for the past 11 years, it has been great but decided to try something new. I think of all the different fishing techniques, jigging is the one where indivudual preference varies the most, as the right "feel" for a jigging rod is so different between anglers.
