What is the special occasion?

All of the Major lakes and rivers east of the mountains in the southern part of the province open up for the season.

With all this decent weather this season people have been really itching to get out on the waters and now they finally can. I may make a trip down to the river in the city for a few hours and look into getting into some fish.

That regulation is only in effect from October 1 to November 30 as far as I can tell.

A lot of the south res. are sunrise to sunset.

As anxious as I am, real early May is usually not too good especially for Walleye

I think I'll stick to trout for the next few weeks.

June is my favorite month for Walleye.

There is only one southern res. that I know of that is sunrise to sunset in the summer and that is PCR.

May is a really good month for eyes. They are coming out of spawn and the big females are going to be wanting to eat after a bit of a rest from spawning. The males are really aggressive and are almost always ready to eat.
