What are your thoughts on the Fish Crisp mix or anything equivalent that you can buy from TFH and WSS etc...

I've written down some of the other recipes that you folks have mentioned, but was thinking about trying some of these mixes before my fly in fishing trip in June.

What flavours do you guys like the best and do you just follow the directions directly on the bag?

Thanks a lot,

Fisherguy

They are all real good. Wholesale sports and walmart best prices. Cost a lot more in the grocery store.

All I ever do is take some beer and some buttermilk pancake mix and start frying. I've never bought fish crisp. I'd rather experiment on my own recipes. IMO

I hunt with some cajuns and they put fish crisp on everything including fish. had it on ducks, upland game and even one in the group insisted he needed fish crisp to make paprikosh with gizards and hearts from sharptails and huns. It was good on everything. Once we actually used in on rainbow trout. Cant even remember everything they cooked that had fish crisp on it but it is like that hot sauce and CAt's varget, they put that *&^% on Everything!
