I know a group of guys that made an anual walleye trip in Alberta(this was quite a few years ago). They were not real happy with their last trip and agreed to all do some research and find the best walleye lake around. They got in touch to plan their next trip and compair notes on where was THE BEST place to go. Though they had always fished an Alberta lake, a number of them had Canoe lake Sask. as the best walleye lake around so they desided to go there. The arranged to stay in a private camp ground at Keely lake and comute to Canoe Lake. It was really windy on Canoe the day they went there so they went back to Keely and fished there the afternoon when the wind died down. They had such a great time fishing walleye and pike in Keely that they never went to Canoe. They have been going to Keely for many years now and always rebook a cabin or camping for the next year.

I have always thoiught of going there but I can't see myself in Sask. when the deer season isn't open.

I love it there. My cossin has a cabin at Loon Lake and every June i go up there and fish a day at loon, Canoe, Keeley, and the Beaver river up by Beuval. The Beaver river is worth the drive the fishing there is alot of fun.
I look forward to this years trip!
