For those of us who enjoy these hard fighting fish, just a friendly picture post thread to compare our catches. Haters start your own thread please.
A few pics from last year to warm up. 3 different suckers. have caught all 3 types in 3 consecutive casts, kind of cool.

that is a big bastard!

Ya he was quite large and hard as hell to reel in on my 5wt fly rod hahaha......sad this is I foul hooked him so I let him swim around till he got the hook out of his fin. I didnt want to yank on it to get him in and needlessly harm him just for the sake of a pic so he swam around for a good 10 mins. thats slime on the end of my line.....not a leader lol. He took it for an amazing run!

Those suckers in the pictures posted by Bob are beauties!

My friend and I were almost skunked during our first Little Red Deer River trip, until around 8PM we spotted 7-8 Longnose Suckers in about 12" of water. I thought I would share some pictures of the one I hooked.

It was quite a chore pulling this fish in with 4X tippet...

WayneChristie

havent seen any of those in the Bow or Oldman around here, that would bring the number of types of fish to catch up to 16 by my figuring. Nice shots.

HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA , Man how times change , we wouldnt even think of touching those things in my day , they would run in gut pools down at the red top dog food plant in nose creek years ago , the stench was unbearable , but the suckers rolled in the stuff , never could touch one of the dirty things again , and with a mouth that is a cross between an anus and a french safe you gotta be damn hungry to eat one a them, ewwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww.

Yea! The one end of him was perfectly flat and round like a suckers mouth, and the other side was almost like an earwig. It was pretty neat! That's what happens when you forget your rod holder In the vehicle and set your rod in the bushes I guess! Regardless it was one of the easiest catches of the season :p!!
