Jensen whites

Went to Jensen's last night looking to get some burbs and walleye but they weren't interested in anything I had to offer. Half dozen other guys there were slaying the whites using worms. Other than rockies, the only lake white I ever caught was by accident, as I've never targeted them before. All I had with me was my tub of minnows so I took my screwdriver and dug myself up some worms. Ended up landing 5 whites all about 2 lbs each. Never cooked them before but have read a lot of people smoke them. Any pointers would be appreciated. Thanks.

fillet & bone them & batter them up...they are great fried, wanna spice it up dip them in hot sauce then coat them in batter. they are great smoked as well. i catch alot out of gull Lake.
