Fish finder

I am going to get a fish finder for my 16 foot fishing boat, I am not used to fish finders and would like some feedback. I am thinking up to 500.00 if that is where they get from entry to good?

check out the humminbird 500 series, they have 3 options. with the best being the combo unit because it has a gps chartplotter that can be used split screen with the sonar. great for trolling and marking fish. its memory is large enough to keep track of where you've been year to year. i believe the combo is the 587 ci hd.

just picked up a Hummnbird 537ci?? at WSS. $537 + tax it has colour screen, GPS, sonar and down imaging. That was $100 off "sale".
