I've heard this is a blast especially later season when there going for drys. I have yet to try fishing for them. From reading some other posts I hear that they have been jumping, so I'm wondering can youfish for them now on drys? If so what are they going for? I was by the river a week ago and I only was seeing some small black stoneflies.

Thanks

Terrestrials work well for goldeye anytime. They are not very picky.

On the river I like the foam as well as it helps keep your fly up longer in the current.

I use a crayfish imitation on the oldman, works great and even hauled in a few walleye's!!
