Star lake?

Anyone been out to star lake lately? Was thinking about heading there on Thursday morning, never been before. Shore fishable I hear? Should I bring my waders to get in a little ways?

You can fish from shore there but it's limited to the parking area. Most of the lake is on private property. As with most lakes in the Edmonton area, if you tried walking in the lake you would sink up to your armpits so no, waders are not needed. Definitely a lake where a boat would be beneficial, even a float tube 'cause when it gets busy it's hard for the shore fisherman to find property.
