border crossing needed gun paper work

Any one have the skinny on what is needed for this year to bring firearms back across the border from the USA after hunting since the FAC paper work is done?......puphood1

We haven't had FACs in effect for many years now, but the replacement licenses are very much still in effect. The only thing that has changed is that the long gun registry is gone, and that is a totally different issue than firearms owners being licensed.

Before the long gun registry was introduced, I used to stop on the Canadian customs side of the border before I left Canada, and obtain a card that listed the serial numbers of my firearms. I imagine that a person could still do that.
