Hello everyone, for those who fish for trout, which do you think is the better bait? Berkley Powerbait or Berkley Gulp. I've had good success with Powerbait, but being a fisherman, I'm always wondering if there is something better. Thanks for the replies. Have a great long weekend!!:)

I'd say both.... Depends on the application needed. Sometimes plain old unscented plastic is all you need as well.

X2 that stuff has some awesome scent to it and offers a great presentation .

But I like the gulp and power bait but all have a different time and place .

out of your two options, I like powerbait dough in pink/yellow.

X2, I've had my best luck on the pink and yellow powerbait. I haven't tried gulp yet though. Can you get trigger x in a dough form for trout?

Didnt watch it but if they caught a trout with it I would laugh! I've had good results with walleye but anything they make for trout has performed very poorly for me. Used the worms and the maggots, did not work overly well and it seemed very easy to steal off the hook. Prefer half a night crawler but the powerbait nuggets work pretty good too.
