Can anyone let me know how the water clarity and river conditions are on the bow this week?
The wife has to head up to Calgary for the day on Saturday and I am thinking about getting dropped off along the bow to chuck some bugs for the day.
Any information is appreciated.
Thanks

It's been good this week so far, but with some rain and warmer weather, the conditions might change fairly quickly.

How long does it take to clear up after it rains usually?
The forecast for up there is calling for some rain tomorrow but it is suppose to be sunny on Saturday.
I really hope I can get up there on a nice day and finally land a bow river rainbow and brown.

I think you would be ok on Saturday unless it really rains a lot tomorrow. It's hard to give you an idea of how fast it clears up since it all depends on how much rain falls of course. Even if it rains quite a bit tomorrow, the river should be quite fishable, even if the visibility is reduced quite a bit.
If the water is a little dirty or high, try concentrating tight to the banks as that's were the fish will be. Good luck if you go!

quit talking about it and get out there and fish it nate. you've got a ride into the city and have absolutely nothing to loose. it's fishing really well. as of 5pm tonight the clarity was no different than last night. as mentioned above, the little more forecasted moisture for tomorrow isn't going to change things much. giver.

Sheep and Highwood are high and muddy but the Bow looked good today at the Deerfoot bridge on #2.

Well it looks like my plans have changed.
I won't be making it up there this weekend like I thought I would so I am now taking the boat out to try to hunt down some walleyes south of Lethbridge.
I will get up and fish the mighty bow sooner or later this year. Plans just seem to keep changing lately.
